Acid Dyes

Bright, clear, strong colours. Acid dyes use a simple dyeing method in hot to boiling water with the addition White Vinegar, Citric Acid or Texacid ECO ( a more stable form of Citric Acid) to the dyebath. Primary colours give a good range of intermediate shades. All dyes are intermixable. Suitable for dyeing Wool, Silk, Nylon, Alpaca, Cashmere, Mohair & any other protein fibre. *** NOTE - we do not recommend the use of any hot water dye for dyeing pre knitted garments due to the risk of shrinkage and felting. PRIMARIES are listed.
